The Art of French Cooking (Paris/Provence)

Tour Description: Partaking of all of the amazing, unique food in foreign lands is often one of the best parts of the travel experience, and the diversity of the famed French cuisine is rich and exciting to explore. For those who love to cook (or want to learn) as well as partake of the results and explore the classic beauty and history of France, join us as we journey to explore the best of both the culture and cuisine of this storied land.

We will cook at the world-renowned Cordon Bleu, visit the famed gourmet epiceries, patisseries, and chocolateries of Paris, sample local cheeses and produce at the oldest and largest weekly market in Provence (in existence since the 12th Century), and learn (and taste) the art of French country cooking, all while taking in the best and brightest that these tour destinations have to offer: view the work of the Masters at the Louvre, stroll down the Champs-Elysees, immerse yourself in the world of impressionism at the MuseĆ© d’Orsay, inhale the sweet air of the largest lavender producing region in France, visit the tiny hilltop towns of the Luberon Region, stand in the very room where Van Gogh created some of his most beloved works, and walk across the ancient Roman aqueduct Pont du Gard.
